Description

Country of origin - South East China

A strong, golden tea with a very distinctive smoky character. Ideal when relaxing in the afternoon, or in the evening after dinner.

Brew for 3 to 5 minutes. Drink black or with a little milk.

The story goes that the tea was created during the Qing era when the passage of armies delayed the annual drying of the tea leaves in the Wuyi hills. Eager to satisfy demand, the tea producers sped up the drying process by having their workers dry the tea leaves over fires made from local pines.

  1. The Best Tea from the Best Teashop!

Anyone who has never had a cup of Lapsang does not know what they are missing.. The Burgundy of Teas !

( I also like to blend it with a bit of Earl Grey, and a bit of Gunpowder, which makes a very memorable cuppa.... )
