The strongest and darkest of all. Robust, its characteristic ‘black beans’ have a shiny, glossy surface.

I highly recommend mixing 75% High Roast coffee with 25% Westmorland blend. It's perfect. I've tried all sorts of coffee (cheep and pricey) from many different sources and there's no going back from this mix. To my taste, this is unbeatable. Cheers and happy sipping!

I am totally addicted to black coffee and have been since I was 10 years old! Originally found Farrers more than 20 years ago when we used to holiday as a family every year in Howgill. Having sayed in the area again in April last year once again went to cafe and realised how much i had missed your coffee. Brough some home and have since ordered twice on line. However a basic pension to live on now means I have to ration my Farrers coffee to make sure it lasts longer as I miss it so much each time I run out!

If, like myself, you enjoy your coffee strong then these are the finest beans I have ever used.
I have searched for years for a consistent high roast blend and, thankfully, now I have found it.

Having spent a number of weeks trying the various beans on offer I have found the High Roast blend exceptional.
