How can I possibly sum up the superlatives that I, and everyone I know who has tasted the 'end product', feels about the outstanding taste of Farrer's No.1?
Quite simply the best, most unique coffee I have ever tasted, even in comparison with coffee I have drunk in France, Germany, Portugal and Turkey.
It richly deserves the title No.1.

I first came across No.1 blend at the cafe in Lakeland's flagship store in Windermere, a long time before its current splendour. It was, at the first taste, an outstandingly delicious blend and perfect for morning drinking. With clearly Colombian overtones, it has distinct, rich body and a fine lingering aftertaste with absolutely no bitterness at all, classic caramel notes being rounded with memorable nuttiness. Superb and as yet unmatched! (But please, reduce the postage costs!)

I was introduced to Farrer's by last year's Christmas coffee. To my surprise it was in the same class, and as much to my taste, as that from a London store at a third of the price. This year's is as satisfying as last year's. It has dispelled my "santaphobia" yet again.

This is a great every day coffee. Nice & smooth when made in a filter machine. I found I used less coffee in a cafetiere to get the same smooth taste

Highly recommend this for use in either a filter or caffetiere. Very smooth, tasty coffee. Great all-rounder

A well rounded and tasty coffee which is equally at home as a breakfast coffee and can also be used as an after dinner beverage. It is not too bitter, and can be brewed stronger without affecting the overall flavour.
