With dedicated roasters & monitoring equipment ensuring unrivalled repeatability, Farrer's use their in-depth knowledge of roasting Coffee, which has been handed down from generation to generation.

The strong relationship with our roasting machine supplier, Probat, dates back a considerable number of years, themselves having originated in 1868, with their patent first being passed for a gas powered roaster in 1877, until it was eventually constructed in 1898. Demand being high saw the delivery of the 50,000th machine by only 1900. Now in it's fourth generation of family members, the Von Gimborn's, have a true legacy of experience in today's competitive market.

Due to our insistance on tradition, we still use a small Vicom Vittoria roaster for speciality batches or exclusive coffees to ensure that our skill & foundations remain.
