Range of strengths
The strength of Farrers coffees range from 1 = Mild to 8 = Strong

Farrers No 1 Blend
A blend of high grown Arabica coffees of the world’s finest beans, medium roasted to give a smooth and full-bodied flavour.

Strength = 4

Special Mountain
Medium roast. A quality blend of Kenya and South American beans giving a full-flavoured drink.

Strength = 4

Kenya AA
Medium roast. Full-bodied and refreshing with full acidity.

Strength = 5

Mocha
Medium roast. Gamey, pungent flavour from the Yemen.

Strength = 3

Fairtrade Costa Rica
Medium roast. Aromatic and smooth.

Strength = 3

Espresso
A strong smooth blend. Rich roasted beans in the true continental style.

Strength = 7

French Continental
A strong classic roast in the continental style.

Strength = 6

Italian
A blend of Arabica coffees, roasted to a full high roast colour, giving a full-bodied result. Ideal for after-dinner drinking and espresso coffee.

Strength = 7

High Roast
The strongest and darkest of all. Robust, its characteristic ‘black beans’ have a shiny, oily surface.

Strength = 8

Decaffeinated
Colombian bean with the caffeine extracted by the Swiss Water method. Smooth drink.

Maragogype
From Mexico, very subtle, rich and creamy.

Colombian
Medium roast. Round, smooth and easy drinking.

Kenya Peaberry
Medium roast. Full-flavoured acidity.

Java
Medium roast. Smooth and nutty.

Strength = 3

Westmorland
A blend of Arabica coffees giving a full strength drink.
